Hours : Monday & Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM Tuesday-Thursday: 4 AM – 12 PM

Salary : $20.00/hr to start w/ room for performance-based raises

Job Description :
We’re looking for a reliable, efficient individual to join our team, with a strong focus on safely and quickly packing animals and related materials for transport . This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently.

Additional responsibilities include the daily care and maintenance of a variety of animals , such as reptiles, birds, small mammals, and insects. Tasks will involve feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring animal health and behavior.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their own, stays organized under pressure, and can handle repetitive tasks with care and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Pack livestock quickly and efficiently for weekly delivery to stores

· Assist with receiving and properly storing weekly shipments of crickets, live bugs, reptiles, small animals, birds, and more

· Coordinate with the team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery

· Clean and sanitize enclosures, cages, and tanks based on species-specific requirements

· Remove waste (feces, uneaten food, shed skin, etc.) and replace bedding or substrate as needed

· Disinfect feeding and watering equipment regularly

· Maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene in the animal room, including floors, walls, and surfaces

· Safely bend, squat, and lift items weighing 25+ lbs as part of daily tasks

· Demonstrate excellent time management skills to keep pace in a fast-moving environment

Qualifications:

· Previous experience working with animals or in a related field is preferred but not required

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and animal welfare

· Comfortable performing physical tasks, including bending, squatting, and lifting 25+ lbs

· Reliable and responsible with good communication skills

· Willingness to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
