Software Test Engineer

The Anduril Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Imaging Software team is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement testing tools and procedures in collaboration with software and production teams to enhance product quality, automate production processes, and expedite the build and test phases. The tools you develop will be used to monitor and analyze product performance throughout its lifecycle, ensuring reliability from initial creation to customer deployment. Successful candidates will possess experience in hardware testing methodologies, automated test systems, and a strong understanding of both hardware and software integration.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and implement hardware testing strategies and tools
- Collaborate with software and production teams to enhance automation
- Optimize production line efficiency and product quality
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field or at least 5 years work experience
- Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems
- Strong understanding of hardware-software integration
- Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring
- Prior work in a high-volume manufacturing environment
US Salary Range
$113,000 - $171,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
