A public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team. In this role, you will lead audit engagements for diverse clients, oversee critical audit activities, prepare financial statements, and ensure adherence to state and federal tax regulations. The position offers flexible hybrid work options depending on the candidate's location, though it is not fully remote.
Details of the job:
- Compensation of $95,000 per year

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee audit, review, and compilation projects
- Prepare and guide the creation of financial statements for clients
- Supervise and handle state and federal tax return preparation for corporations, partnerships, non-profits, employee benefit plans, and individuals
- Maintain knowledge of the latest developments in assurance and tax regulations through ongoing professional education
- Ensure timely and high-quality results by proactively managing tasks and responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 3 to 7 years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit and assurance services
- Demonstrated experience running audit engagements
- Previous work with non-profits, employee benefit plans, or closely held businesses is a plus
- CPA designation or active CPA track
