Financial Analyst About the role The Financial Analyst supports financial planning and analysis activities across the business, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis. This role requires developing a strong understanding of the retail business, identifying key trends, and delivering insights that inform operational and strategic decisions. The impact you can have- Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing monthly forecast updates
- Assist with the monthly close process, including running reports and preparing journal entries
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages for business partners
- Partner with functional teams to review spending, analyze variances, and refine forecasts
- Maintain and analyze key financial and operational metrics to evaluate business performance and trends
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and contribute to broader finance projects
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
- Experience with Oracle and Hyperion preferred, but not required
- Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with team
- Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple commitments
