InnoTECH Staffing is looking to hire a fulltime permanent Coatings Lab Technician for a materials development company just North of Boston, MA.

This is an onsite role 5 days a week.

Will consider entry-level.

!! MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREENCARD HOLDER !!

This position is looking to start someone in May/June 2026.

The ideal candidate should have wet lab experience, and demonstrate something in the resume or in a hobby that shows they want to do creative, marketing work as well. This could be like working in a maker-space, building hardware in a capstone, interest in videography, etc.

About this role
We are looking for a Coatings Technician based in Malden, MA to join the Global Technical Services and Marketing teams. This position will support our marketing team in creating high value, evidence-based marketing content, and support lead expansion initiatives. The technician will pair an understanding of application methodologies and performance of our coating portfolio with a creative approach to customer engagement. In this role, the Coatings Technician will also provide lab support for local and field-deployed technical service team members.

Previous experience in a wet lab is required.

Requirements/responsibilities include:
1. Work with our Marketing and Business Development team to develop demos of coating performance and video content. This will include creation and design of professional displays of our coatings and value proposition.
2. Execute on detailed analysis of performance of our coatings.
3. Collaborate with marketing and BD team on translating lab-based information into customer and public-ready content.
4. Contribute to written technical content for press releases, website, or sales collateral.
5. Build a demo and sales sample repository to support customer engagement events
6. Work with technical service team members on coating samples for customers and maintaining and logging samples sent by customers.
7. Support various team members on designing and conducting experiments and data consolidation while maintaining independent timelines.
8. Collaborate with our global sales and global technical services teams to provide creative solutions to our customers and improvements to our application methodology.
9. Maintain laboratory conditions in a fashion that facilitates cleanliness and productivity for all lab users.

This role includes 10-15% business travel to support trade shows, coating demonstrations, and customer support activities.

The position is located in Malden, MA and is accessible via the Orange Line.

We are looking specifically someone who is motivated to do lab work that helps support company marketing campaigns and customer demos. Someone who can be a core part of their marketing and customer teams, helping them do the lab work to make good content. This person will also support customer activities. It should be a fun role for someone who is creative, but wants to be hands on in the lab.

Salary range for Lab Technicians is $59K-$79K depending on experience.
