Join a respected pediatric hospital in Boston as an Inpatient Pharmacist on a full-time contract assignment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospital pharmacist looking to work in a collaborative clinical environment while supporting high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense medications for hospitalized patients.
- Ensure safe and accurate medication therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor medication orders for appropriateness, dosing, and drug interactions.
- Document pharmacy interventions and maintain accurate patient records.
- Follow hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Utilize EPIC for medication management and documentation.
Work Hours
- Full-time
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 3+ months
- Schedule: To be determined
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Inpatient pharmacy experience required.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent.
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License in good standing.
