**1** **st** **Shift:** 7 am to 3:30 pm, $20 per hour
**2** **nd** **Shift:** 3 pm to 11:30 pm, $22 per hour

**What's a typical day as a Machine Operator? You'll be:**
- Preparing metal surfaces for coating using abrasive equipment and cleaning procedures.
- Setting up and removing components from coating fixtures, performing buffing, and conducting inspections after coating and curing.
- Operating and maintaining semi-automatic and manual blasting machinery.
- Setting up jobs for Teflon spraying, including racking, inspecting, cleaning, measuring, and masking parts.
- Running curing/industrial ovens and inspecting materials before and after blasting for quality results.
- Collaborating with team leads, supervisors, engineering, and quality teams to meet production guidelines and customer specifications.
- Completing and scanning paperwork for accurate inventory and production records.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area, following all PPE and safety protocols.
- Participating in process improvements, daily cycle counts, and communicating issues to management.
**This job might be an outstanding fit if you:**
- Have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in a job shop environment.
- Possess mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment, including sandblasting machinery (automatic/manual experience preferred).
- Can read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Have experience with calipers and optical measuring tools (a plus).
- Demonstrate high attention to detail, quality focus, integrity, teamwork, and responsiveness.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Are physically able to stand and lift as required, and willing to work in a production environment with exposure to dust, noise, and machinery while using PPE.
