Sr. Account Executive

We are conducting a search for a Senior Account Executive in Business Development to join our team and drive the growth of our organization.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will succeed in supporting and coordinating business development activities for our many Babcock divisions. Key objectives include:
- Identifying and developing business opportunities with new and existing clients in Power, Energy, Industrial, Renewable Energy (focus on wind turbine services), Substations, and Transmission projects.
- Identifying Data Centers infrastructure projects and clients where the Babcock Power Data Center Platform, consistent of multiple Business Units can be offered as an integrated solution.
- Develop, maintain and enhance existing and new business relationships with current Babcock Power clients to expand and integrate other BPI Business Units' products and services.
- Coordinate with outside sales representatives to develop and execute business development strategies in conjunction with Business Unit goals for targeted clients and markets, emphasizing growth in renewables, power delivery systems, and Data Center projects.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with Business Units to identify market drivers and support business development sales strategies to sell a portfolio of power generation services (Coal, NG and other fuels), heat exchanger processes, renewable energy services (e.g., wind turbine services), the construction of HV substations and transmission systems inc. servicing both new and existing assets, and Data Center products and services.
- Support and coordinate business development efforts and strategies to support BPI’s overall objectives and strategic plans, including expansion into sustainable energy sectors like renewables and critical infrastructure for Data Centers.
- Update and maintain information in the CRM system to update Management on business development activities, leads, plant-level feedback, and recommended bid/win strategies regarding all products and services, with particular attention to renewable energy integration and Data Center opportunities.
- Drive communication across business units by leading and supporting certain business development meetings and fostering teamwork across the Babcock Power enterprise.
- Establish and maintain an effective business development coverage program by coordinating with outside sales representatives to support our growth strategy in emerging markets such as wind energy and Data Center expansions.
- Promote a positive and professional image of the Company to employees, clients, and sub-contractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business. Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 15-25 years leading technical sales, business development / origination or project management functions related to the power or energy industries' product lines. Demonstrated experience in renewable energy (e.g., wind turbines), power delivery systems, and data center infrastructure projects.
- Solid knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications; MS Dynamics preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter coupled with the ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency.

Our base pay ranges are set based on the function, discipline, level and regional location and are benchmarked against companies in the same or similar industry. Final offers may vary based on multiple factors, including; education, depth and relevance of work experience, relevant licenses and certifications, and may vary from the amounts listed in the job posting.
The range for this role is $137,500-$253,500
