Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0700 - 1930 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience License: Current RN state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, NRP, CPI Must-Have: - Valid Driver's License or State ID - Completed Employee Medical History Form - Annual TB Questionnaire Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Labor and Delivery setting. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the labor process. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills are essential in managing complex labor and delivery scenarios. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records is required. The position includes working various shifts and may require additional hours as needed. Participation in ongoing education and training is expected to maintain competencies related to labor and delivery care. Adherence to safety protocols and patient care standards is mandatory. The Registered Nurse will support patients and their families by providing education and emotional support during the labor experience.
