Infusion RN Job Details – Boston, MA

• Location: Boston, MA 02118 – Access to top healthcare facilities, dining, arts, and historic neighborhoods
• Position Type: Locum tenens (Travel/Contract Registered Nurse)
• Healthcare Setting: Ambulatory Heart Failure Program Infusion Clinic
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 27, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (8:00am – 4:30pm)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends or major holidays
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Patient Ratio: 3:1 (3 infusion chairs per RN)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2700 - $2770

Infusion Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 3 years of recent ambulatory care and cardiology infusion nursing experience
• Proficiency with triage and EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
• Skilled in IV medication and electrolyte administration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Infusion RN Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous diuretic therapy and other IV medications to heart failure patients
• Perform patient triage and coordinate care with the heart failure healthcare team
• Complete administrative tasks, including patient outreach and care planning
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to review patient care plans
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting
