ADULT-USE CANNABIS RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE- Brookline, MA

OVERVIEW

Sanctuary is looking for dynamic and passionate candidates to join our team for our Adult-Use Cannabis Retail Store in Brookline, Ma.

The Sanctuary Brookline associate is a key player in ensuring the store

operates in compliance with the State of Massachusetts regulations. We are looking for

candidates who will be a positive representative of Sanctuary’s commitment to serve our

community and is passionate about creating a positive retail cannabis experience for all

who come to our store. This includes facilitating a smooth and efficient customer

experience, and assisting our new/returning customers with accurate information,

exceptional product guidance. We are currently seeking dynamic individuals who are flexible in

cross training opportunities to include; customer interactions working at the point of sale,

displaying exceptional customer service at the reception desk, checking identification at the

door, and inventory.

EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 21 years of age
• At least one year of hospitality, retail or cannabis experience
• Must pass a criminal background check as required by the CCC and with no

felony convictions

• Excellent communication skills both orally and written
• Must be flexible with scheduling, ability to fulfill closing shifts is required.
• Basic computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner
• Performs well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule to include weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to multi-task and places a high importance on organization

KEY JOB DUTIES

• Must have knowledge of various strains, genetics, active ingredient profiles

including but not limited to THC and CBD and all relevant terminology

• Must be current on events regarding cannabis
• Understand the different delivery systems and their impact on the user,
• Must be current with all related Massachusetts adult-use cannabis rules and

regulations.

• Must display exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills and ability to supply the guest with knowledge

and understanding about adult-use cannabis,

• Great care and concern must be taken with every guest.
• Interaction with the manager on duty and following his/her direction and

procedure on all guest needs.

• Assist the guest in the proper selection of their cannabis based on their

interest and desired impact,

• Complete monetary transactions (cash, debit card transaction). Cash

handling will be required,

• Follow all monetary transaction procedures and be accountable for a daily

register drawer and debit card batch-out ,

• Maintain a sanitary work area at all times,
• Must maintain a professional, upbeat, friendly and cheerful attitude.
• Assure daily compliance with store policies including but not limited to;

state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress codes

and work schedules

• Must be willing to learn all positions within our facility.
