What You'll Do
We are seeking a proactive and versatile In-House Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team. This is a high-impact role for a legal generalist, offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of legal matters with a focus on commercial contracting, litigation support, and legal operations.
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and other legal documents, including purchase agreements, NDAs, supply agreements, and service contracts.
- Litigation Support: Assist in litigation matters, including document production and collaborating with internal colleagues and external counsel when needed.
- Legal Operations: Support legal team with the development and implementation of legal processes, templates, and tools to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide practical legal advice to various departments within the company, including Sales, Procurement, and Engineering.
What You'll Bring
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission and good standing to practice law in Massachusetts (or ability to register as in-house counsel)
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house roles
- Experience in commercial contracting, litigation, and legal operations
- Solid drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Superior Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with various legal software services
- Unmatched attention to detail
- Affinity with the solar, construction, or renewable energy industry is a strong plus
Where You'll Be Located
This is a hybrid position (2-3 days/week in the office, or more when business needs dictate) and will be based in our North Andover, MA office.
What We’ll Offer
We offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, education and location. We anticipate the base salary for this position to be between $115,000 and $135,000 annually, if located in the Boston Area market. In addition to base salary, Enstall employees are eligible for either an annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
