**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or authorization for entry as required.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to provide guidance and support during routine operations and/or emergency response situations.
+ Prepare clear and concise reports regarding patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
+ Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
