We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis in Holyoke, Massachusetts. In this role, you will support HR operations by assisting with administrative tasks, employee relations, and payroll processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for working in human resources.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support for HR functions, including maintaining employee records and processing documentation.
• Assist with onboarding new hires by coordinating paperwork and ensuring a smooth integration process.
• Support open enrollment procedures, including managing benefits-related inquiries and updates.
• Handle data entry tasks with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate processing using ADP systems.
• Address employee relations concerns by providing support and escalating issues when necessary.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and regulations while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and workflows.
• Communicate effectively with team members and employees to relay important updates and information.
• Prior experience in human resources administration or a related field.• Familiarity with onboarding processes and employee integration.
• Strong understanding of employee relations practices and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with ADP payroll systems and related HR software.
• Knowledge of open enrollment procedures and benefits administration.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
