Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are currently hiring CNC Machinists for both our day and overnight shifts. In this role, production consists of serving the aerospace and medical industries. Daily responsibilities will include performing set-ups, running and troubleshooting machinery, holding tight tolerances, and performing inspections on all products.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex work with CNC machines, including set-up and operation.
• Run and troubleshoot CNC machinery effectively.
• Maintain tight tolerances, specifically within +/- thousandths of an inch.
• Inspect all products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate consistently with the engineering team.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain safety regulations.
• Report any defective materials or processes.
• Adjust to customer demands and work with small to medium-sized aerospace components.

Essential Skills

• Experience running and setting up CNC Mill or Lathe, with Swiss Machinery experience as a plus.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting machinery.
• Experience working with aluminum or stainless steel.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience with CNC Milling or Lathe.
• Familiarity with micrometers and calipers for inspection purposes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Swiss Machinery.
• Ability to perform light edits and zero out a machine.

Work Environment

The work environment is extremely clean and well-lit. Some shop areas may be louder, while others are quieter. Day Shift: 6:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Overnight Shift: 5:00pm - 6:00am, Monday-Thursday, with a 20% shift differential.

This is a Permanent position based out of Agawam, MA.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Agawam,MA.

This position is anticipated to close on Jan 16, 2026.
