Director of Revenue Management
Summary
The Director of Revenue Management is an exempt, full-time, on-site role responsible for leading the hotel’s revenue strategy to maximize room, event, and total-hotel revenue.
The salary range for this position is $116,200 to $149,500 per year, dependent on experience; this range is provided as a good faith estimate for the position. The Director will Lead pricing, forecasting, distribution, inventory controls, and revenue strategy to maximize room, event, and total hotel revenue. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and ownership to set strategy, deliver forecasts and reports, and optimize channel mix and segmentation.
Core responsibilities:
Own daily, weekly, and monthly forecasting and reporting.
Set and manage dynamic pricing, rate structures, stay controls, and inventory rules.
Manage distribution and channel mix (direct, OTA, GDS, consortia).
Lead group and transient strategy, conduct displacement and pickup analysis.
Run competitive and market analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
Maintain and optimize RMS, PMS, and BI tools; recommend system improvements.
Hire, coach, and measure the revenue team; set KPIs and produce executive presentations.
The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and ownership, supervises revenue staff, recommends and optimizes RMS, PMS and BI tools, and prepares presentations for property leadership and owners.
The position is expected to work in the office at Hyatt Regency Boston and is not primarily remote; after a successful onboarding period there may be the potential for one work-from-home day per week.
