Entry level Youth Care Worker - Clinton, MA

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a highly respected DYS program in Clinton, MA, and they're looking for Youth Advocate Counselors who want to make a real difference in the lives of young women ages 14-22.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for anyone passionate about human services, education, social work, or youth development. If you're patient, supportive, and motivated to help teens build brighter futures, this role gives you the chance to do meaningful work while gaining valuable experience.

Position Details

• Location: Clinton, MA

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Setting: Staff-secured DYS Program

• Schedule: 40 hrs/week (3p-11p)

• Fri-Tue (Wed/Thu off)

• Thu-Mon (Tue/Wed off)

• Sat-Wed (Thu/Fri off)

• Pay: $24/hr

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be part of a dedicated team helping youth develop healthy habits, positive decision-making skills, and confidence. Your role includes:

• Creating a safe, therapeutic environment using trauma-informed care

• Supporting youth through teaching, mentoring, and daily guidance

• Encouraging personal growth, interests, and strengths

• Leading activities that promote healthy choices

• Modeling positive behavior and setting clear, supportive limits

• Using crisis-prevention and de-escalation skills when needed

What Makes You a Great Fit

• High school diploma or relevant experience

• Experience working with youth (professional or volunteer)

• Valid MA driver's license

• Ability to meet state/federal requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old

• TB/health documentation as required
