Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and driven Sales Manager or Sales Director to lead business growth across the U.S. market. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-scaling biotechnology company that values innovation, scientific excellence, and customer success. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the U.S. life sciences landscape and a proven ability to drive strategic partnerships and revenue expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and optimize sales strategies to expand the company’s footprint and achieve ambitious growth targets in the U.S. market.
- Lead the sales of primary cell and reagent products, as well as CRO services, to pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and research institutions.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and strategic partners.
- Represent the company at scientific conferences, industry events, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth post-sale coordination, from logistics to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biosciences, Pharmacology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience within the U.S. life science or biotechnology industry.
- Strong customer network within the Greater Boston area is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and developing new markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Permanent Resident/Green Card holder) and currently based in the Greater Boston area.
