Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of MathWorks' sophisticated statistical analysis products in industry and academia; assisting in the development of components of software product models and simulations to demonstrate the use of MathWorks' Statistics and Curve Fitting Toolboxes; developing components of technical engineering demonstrations of MathWorks' statistical analysis products to support the company's marketing activities; assisting senior team members in engagements with prospective and existing customers to understand their workflow and identifying relevant MathWorks engineering solutions; and developing application examples and simulations to demonstrate how MathWorks engineering software addresses customer needs. Requires domestic/international travel based on company/client need (approximately 5-10 %).

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no experience.

OR

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Product Marketing Engineer (or related occupation) performing technical support, engineering development or product marketing of statistics, machine-learning and curve fitting software.

Special Requirements :

• Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB and Simulink, including using MATLAB within the Statistics and Curve Fitting toolboxes.
• Demonstrated expertise performing data analytics and modeling of software product usage, user activity, and user experience to support new features and functionalities for product enhancement; and analyzing usage data to support data-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated expertise developing technical marketing for statistics and curve fitting software; and conducting mapping troubleshooting workflows and developing technical reference and instructional guides.
• Demonstrated expertise performing market research and market analysis to inform conversations with development, technical support and sales stakeholders.
