Your Opportunity with ECG: Analyst
As a full-time analyst at ECG, you’ll be an important part of our consulting team, working alongside the top professionals in the industry to come up with solutions that shape healthcare. You will join ECG as a general member of our healthcare consulting pool, where you'll have the opportunity to gain diverse experiences by working across ECG’s four divisions: Health System Performance, Medical Group Optimization, Payer Strategy & Contracting, and Strategy & Enterprise Growth.
Health System Performance
Lead comprehensive performance improvement and clinical program optimization across the full continuum of care, supporting high-quality care while driving operational and financial results across all care settings.
Medical Group Optimization
Work with health systems and independent organizations to improve the performance of medical groups, with a focus on governance and leadership, integration, infrastructure, and provider compensation (design, administration, valuation, and compliance).
Payer Strategy & Contracting
Optimize strategies, relationships, terms, and methodologies related to revenue and market position for healthcare providers, disrupters, and payers.
Strategy & Enterprise Growth
Develop and support strategies, planning, organizational design, transactions, and partnerships that reposition health systems, academic health systems, physician groups, and medical and health sciences schools for impact and growth.

Your Responsibilities May Include
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving independent work streams to address client challenges and deliver successful project outcomes
- Analyzing data, formulating hypotheses, and developing innovative, actionable recommendations to solve complex and ambiguous healthcare problems
- Developing high-quality client deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations, Excel models, financial analyses, and other written deliverables, using logical reasoning under tight timelines
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders by presenting results, synthesizing information, and driving implementation
- Creating and managing project plans with clear goals, deliverables, and outcomes, ensuring timely execution across varied schedules and locations
Our Expectations of You
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field with a focus on analytics and critical thinking
- 0–4 years of professional work experience; internship or prior experience in consulting, analytics, or a healthcare-related field is preferred
- Proven experience in data-driven decision-making through prior work in consulting or a similar analytical role, showcasing expertise in data analysis, trend identification, and actionable insights development
- General knowledge and demonstrated interest in the healthcare industry, including familiarity with key stakeholders, trends, and challenges
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed quantitative analyses and identify key insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other analytical tools preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and reliability in all work products
- Ability to communicate effectively and accurately to clearly present complex information to clients and team members
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and see tasks through to completion
- Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Ability and willingness to travel as required, with flexibility to meet client needs
Job Locations
- Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Diego, or Washington, DC
- Hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of two days per week in office when not traveling for a client engagement

The estimated base salary range for this job is $80,000 - $93,000 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG’s pay-for-performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) matching program, unlimited PTO, and other wellness programs .
