Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated machine operators to join our dynamic team. This role offers extensive training, regular check-ins with your production manager, and opportunities to collaborate with the engineering team to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

• Work from work orders and learn processes for each individual customer, ensuring KPIs are met.
• Use micrometers and calipers to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance on machinery, including oiling machines.
• Utilize a computer to track raw material usage.
• Inspect pieces for defective materials and unusual conditions.

• Frequent mobility and ability to lift up to 50lbs comfortably.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, including decimals, fractions, and measurements.
• Comfortable operating multiple machines simultaneously.
• Experience in manufacturing or a mechanically inclined position.
• Proficient with computers, machine operation, inspection, and troubleshooting.

• Candidates must have a stable work history.
• Open-minded approach to learning new skills.
• Willingness to be trained on our machinery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Turners Falls, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.58 - $21.58/hr.
