As a Security Officer - Patient Information Desk in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and strong communication skills. Pay Rate: $23.15 / Hour

Mon 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Fri 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Sat 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Sun 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, staff, and/or patients at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required for entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide assistance as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including communicating with emergency personnel and guiding individuals as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
