Physical Therapist Job Details

• Location: Holyoke, Colorado 80734 (Colorado healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Hospital-based (90% outpatient, 10% inpatient)
• Employment Type: Locum tenens Physical Therapist (travel contract)
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 29, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts per week

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,250–$2,310 per week

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (or equivalent)
• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Proficiency or willingness to learn electronic medical records (EMR) and patient care documentation software
• Experience or interest in rural healthcare settings preferred

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer Physical Therapy treatments based on physician referrals and hospital policies
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in one-on-one therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented, and learning-focused healthcare environment
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan
