Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Location: Concord, MA 01742 (Greater Boston area healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract (September 22, 2025 – December 20, 2025)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2010–$2070
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Unit: Medical Surgical (Med/Surg – Wheeler 4)
• Floating: May float to similar Med/Surg units as needed
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Experience with MediTech electronic health records preferred
• Must pass Telemetry test on first day of orientation

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to similar Med/Surg units as needed to support hospital staffing
• Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and their families
