The studio is utilizing its extensive expertise in creating persistent online worlds that foster powerful social gaming communities to develop its hit mobile game, Game of Thrones: Conquest. Your New Role WB Games Boston is looking for a Software Engineer to join the team. In this position, you will have a hands-on role maintaining and implementing the tools and services that support our live mobile titles. This role is based out of our Needham, MA studio. Your Role Accountabilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve tools and support applications to help run and build our online mobile games
• Work with the Microsoft Blazor web framework to build rich intranet and locally installed applications
• Work closely with other teams and disciplines to gather requirements, design new systems, and solicit feedback
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and code health

Qualifications & Experience

• Proficient in basic software development including coding (in any language), data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis (big-O), and systems design
• Experience with C#
• Experience with web development
• Knowledge of Microsoft Blazor and/or ASP.NET
• Experience with CSS and Javascript
• Experience with cloud, containerization and microservices
• Experience using or implementing RESTful and/or gRPC services
• Experience with database design and SQL
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members and stake holders
• Contribute to architecture and technical reviews, as well as code reviews of other engineers
• Willingness to understand and advocate for customer-focused solutions
