Senior IT Program Lead - SITPL
Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid Work Schedule)
Overview: A government-affiliated organization is seeking a Senior IT Program Lead to oversee a portfolio of enterprise-level IT initiatives. This strategic leadership role within the IT PMO involves managing cross-functional teams, aligning project outcomes with business priorities, and ensuring consistent delivery across projects such as cloud infrastructure, data governance, and cybersecurity enhancements.
Key Duties:
Coordinate a group of interconnected IT projects as part of a broader program.
Define program-wide priorities, sequencing, and strategic direction.
Serve as a point of contact for executive stakeholders and business leaders.
Manage resource allocation, financials, and performance KPIs.
Identify and mitigate risks across program elements.
Create documentation including roadmaps, dashboards, and reports.
Qualifications:
7+ years of program or portfolio leadership in IT.
PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
Strong grasp of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.
Proven leadership, fiscal, and communication skills.
Experience in government or regulated industries is advantageous.
