Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist is needed for a full-time, onsite role in Springfield, MA, serving school-aged children during the 2026–2027 academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide critical speech and language support within a school setting, helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for bilingual students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes regularly
- Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines, including accurate record-keeping
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required (submission of license verification mandated)
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably with bilingual populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging students and families from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to pass drug screening and complete fingerprinting/background checks (CORI)
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctual arrival and departure from the school site
Position Details:
- Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
- Contract period: August 2026 – June 2027
- Onsite role requiring full-time commitment
- Microsoft Teams interview (15–30 minutes)
