Keyence Metrology Quality Inspector
About the Role
Step into a day where precision drives everything you do. You’ll put the Keyence Vision measurement system to work, verify first articles, and keep production flowing by catching issues early and documenting results clearly. From handheld gauges to advanced optics, you’ll be the go-to expert for dimensional verification and quality documentation.
What You’ll Do
- Operate the Keyence Vision measurement system for dimensional inspections and data capture.
- Perform first article inspections (FAI) and record all required results.
- Complete quality paperwork and maintain accurate inspection records.
- Review nonconformance reports (NCRs) and help coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Use standard QC instruments including verniers, micrometers, and height gages.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with the Keyence Vision measurement system; programming experience is a plus.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to interpret machining and fabrication drawings, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing specifications and tolerances.
- Clear written communication skills to produce reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Schedule & Pay
Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Compensation: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
