The salary range for this position in Boston, MA is $146,700 - $293,400 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Lead a team of Solutions Architects, ensuring consistent application of presales best practices, technical guidance, and customer-facing execution; Drive workforce planning initiatives including recruitment, succession planning, and compensation decisions to meet current and future PreSales team needs; Create comprehensive onboarding plans for new team members and implement ongoing mentorship programs for existing colleagues, aligning individual's goals with the country's PreSales strategy, and certify team member’s competencies for given PreSales activities; Work with team members to deliver organizational communications, conduct regular performance appraisals, act as an escalation point for their opportunities where required, authorize work on initiatives beyond core team competencies, and address any performance issues; Provide expert advice and coaching to the PreSales team on developing and delivering precise and compelling technical and value presentations, demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concepts; Monitor and enforce adherence to established business processes and systems to ensure accurate data capture and reporting, providing leadership with the necessary context and visibility for effective decision-making and opportunity management; Partner with senior leadership to define and shape country PreSales strategy based on market analysis and business drivers, ensuring alignment with zone goals and organizational objectives; Provide input on Annual Operating Plan for country PreSales operations, departmental budgets, headcount allocation, and strategic input on resource planning across the broader organization; Investigate and evaluate new market opportunities, lead definition and development of solutions for emerging markets, and represent customer voice in organizational technical and business strategy development; Build executive-level customer relationships, contribute to sales pipeline strategy with sales leadership, and track customer purchasing trends to inform organizational go-to-market approaches; Drive company-wide initiatives for business process improvement and knowledge management that support broader organizational

objectives. Position requires up to 50% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting is permissible from a commutable distance. [Hybrid role.]

Requirements:

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Physics, Mathematics, or related field 48 months of experience in the job offered or in a Solutions Consultant-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1. Managing technical teams.

2. Delivering technical presentations using presentation authoring platforms.

3. Adapting content and technical depth for audiences including C-suite executives, engineering teams, and non-technical stakeholders.

4. Planning, implementing and monitoring project management initiatives while balancing competing priorities and driving accountability for execution.

5. Using sales methodologies, such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger and sales automation platforms.

6. Using modern software development technologies and practices (e.g., APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD, or version control) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and assess feasibility/trade-offs.
