A premier hospitality group is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the kitchen of an exciting new restaurant in Needham, Massachusetts. This is a rare opportunity to shape a culinary program from the ground up and establish the standard for a brand-new, full-service dining destination.

The Opportunity

Set to open this summer, this approximately 165-seat operation features 115 indoor seats and 50 outdoor seats. As Executive Chef, you will play a defining role in launching the concept, building the team, and crafting an experience that keeps guests coming back. What You'll Do

• Lead all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across every service
• Develop and refine the menu, balancing creativity with sound cost control
• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing kitchen team
• Manage food and labor costs to meet financial targets
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Set the tone for kitchen culture and leadership during a pivotal opening phase

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, full-service environment
• New restaurant opening experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success in menu development and culinary innovation
• Strong command of cost control, inventory management, and kitchen staffing
• A confident, hands-on leader who inspires and develops their team
• Local candidates preferred, with consideration given to commute and long-term fit

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience
• Health and dental insurance
• Paid time off: five days after the first six months, increasing to ten days by the end of year one
• Three sick days, in line with Massachusetts standards
• Generous food discounts: 50% at your home restaurant and 30% at sister establishments
