Transportation Planner & Inventory Control Associate

Where: Groton, MA (100% onsite)

When: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $25–$30 per hour (overtime not typically expected; not guaranteed)

Term: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension

What you’ll take ownership of

• Plan and schedule truckload and LTL pickups/deliveries with carriers.
• Coordinate material moves from Groton to the expanding Clinton warehouse , ensuring documentation and receiving are aligned.
• Resolve exceptions with trucking companies and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Strengthen inventory control by reconciling counts, clearing discrepancies, and closing transactions.
• Keep shipment records, appointments, and transfer logs tidy and current.

Who you’ll team up with

You’ll report to the Sr. Supply Chain Manager . The core team includes:

• At Groton: Sr. Supply Chain Manager, Buyer, and Scheduler.
• At Clinton: a Supervisor and two additional team members.

In total, you’ll partner with about seven colleagues across both locations.
