Position Overview
The Bridge Superintendent will oversee bridge construction projects, ensuring that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. This role involves management of construction teams, collaboration with engineers and project managers, and adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise bridge construction projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of work being performed on site.
  • Manage and mentor construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in bridge construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of bridge construction techniques, including substructure and superstructure work.
  • Experience with concrete placement and bridge deck construction.
  • Familiarity with precast bridges and prefabricated bridge elements and systems (PBES).
  • Understanding of MSE wall systems and DOT regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
