Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Burlington, MA 01805 (Greater Boston area)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Healthcare Setting: Trauma Level I Hospital
• Unit: Critical Care Float Pool (ICU & PCU)
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week (7p–7a), every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 – $2,540

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2–5 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Experience in Trauma Level I facility preferred; Trauma Level II experience considered
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
• Must pass Telemetry test on first day (pass/fail)
• No prior employment (perm or travel) at any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months
• Local candidates not accepted (must qualify for travel nursing)

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Float between ICU and PCU units, delivering high-quality patient care as a critical care nurse
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per hospital protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical interventions in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a float pool nursing role
