Supervisor : Assistant Director of Donor Campaigns and Engagement

Salary Range : $55,000-$59,000

The Role: Project Bread is looking for a driven, organized, and energetic professional to be an integral part of the development team with a focus on supporting Project Breads fundraising campaigns and individual giving projects.

As an Individual Giving Associate, you will join a dynamic fundraising team responsible for achieving bold revenue goals. This role works with the individual giving team under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Donor Campaigns and Engagement to assist in the creation and execution of integrated multi-channel fundraising campaigns and provide support for various departmental needs.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Support the execution of integrated multi-channel fundraising campaigns, including:

• Participating in team meetings and planning sessions.

• Collaborating with teams across Project Breads function areas to support timely, accurate, and compelling donor communications.

• Assisting in the development and production of fundraising materials.

• Supporting campaign tracking, reporting, and analysis before, during, and after implementation.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in Raisers Edge, including donor and prospect data, research findings, and documentation of interactions and engagement history.

• Conduct regular list maintenance and data hygiene tasks to support effective donor communication, ensure accuracy in outreach, and uphold database integrity.

• Utilize digital tools and platforms to support donor communications, fundraising campaigns, and stewardship activities to create a consistent and engaging donor experience.

• Participate in and support the planning and execution of donor cultivation and stewardship events.

• Manage inbound departmental communications to ensure timely, professional engagement and provide personalized support for Project Breads fundraising contactsincluding donors, prospects, and peer-to-peer fundraisersas needed.

Organizational Responsibilities :

• Participate in planning and evaluating the annual Walk for Hunger, including working as event staff the weekend of the Walk (first weekend in May), and attending pre-Walk events as assigned.

• Attend organization-wide events and meetings.

• Act to promote, sustain, and grow Project Breads positive, productive, and inclusive working environment.

Additional Qualifications and Experience:

• Commitment to Project Breads mission to connect people and communities in Massachusetts to reliable sources of food while advocating for policies that make food more accessible.

• Professional experience, preferably in nonprofit, development, or administrative roles.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage overlapping deadlines.

• Ability to prioritize effectively and comfort working on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and SharePoint.

• Familiarity with digital fundraising tools (such as Classy and Mailchimp) and CRM platforms (such as Raisers Edge NXT or similar) preferred.

• Research skills, including the ability to identify and seek needed information through a variety of means.

• Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in order to be responsive to changing needs in a dynamic organization.

• Although it is not required for the position, the ability to speak multiple languages is a significant asset.

Additional Requirements :

Working Location: All employees are currently working a hybrid remote and in-office model and are expected to spend at least some time in the office each week. The Individual Giving Associate will need to be present in the East Boston office on a regular basis, typically Tuesdays and Thursdays.
