Our client, a successful law firm, is seeking a Paralegal to join their team. Their firm specializes in estate planning for families at various stages, including those with children who have special needs and empty nesters. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for helping families create thoughtful plans for their futures and a strong ability to engage with clients on a personal level.
Location: Acton, MA
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: In Office M-F
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Liaise with financial advisors to coordinate trust funding and ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Support attorneys by proactively organizing and preparing materials for the upcoming week.
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with clients to gather all necessary information and documentation for drafting.
- Manage client matters through internal workflows, ensuring deadlines are met for signing and final meetings.
- Draft a variety of estate planning documents.
- Prepare documents related to trust administration.
- Serve as a witness during all document signing meetings.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in legal services in a law firm.
- Experience as a Paralegal in Estate Planning is a plus.
- Experience with technology, including Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Solid time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
