About the Role
As Senior Sales Director for our North America Risk Data Solutions practice, you'll lead our commercial expansion in the Insurance and Public Sector markets. This is a revenue-generating position where your sales expertise will directly impact our bottom line while helping clients solve their most complex risk challenges through data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive our ambitious revenue growth by selling our premium Risk Data Solutions portfolio across the North American insurance and public sector landscape
- Architect and execute Risk Data Solutions go-to-market strategies that position us as the partner of choice
- Uncover hidden opportunities through strategic client needs discovery and market analysis
- Build and optimize a high-value sales pipeline that consistently delivers results
- Close high-value deals through expert negotiation and stakeholder alignment
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance our commercial effectiveness and market penetration
- Capitalize on market trends by identifying emerging needs before competitors
- Leverage Swiss Re's intellectual property to create differentiated value propositions
- Drive product evolution by channeling market intelligence to our development teams
- Demonstrate commercial impact through data-driven reporting and strategic forecasting

About You
You are a proven sales leader with a track record consistently exceeding targets and opening doors to new business opportunities. Your entrepreneurial mindset allows you to operate with the agility of a startup while leveraging the resources of a global organization. You thrive in consultative selling environments where your industry expertise and strategic thinking create measurable value for clients and drive sustainable growth.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive sales experience, with demonstrated success in insurance, financial services, Insurtech, or public sector
- Comprehensive understanding of the US P&C insurance market, including underwriting processes, claims operations, risk management frameworks, and technology ecosystems
- Established professional network within the P&C sector with verifiable history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and relationship cultivation
- Outstanding communication skills that enable you to articulate complex value propositions to diverse stakeholders

The estimated base salary range for this position is $212,000 to $348,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week; however, for the right candidate, we are open to any location on the East Coast.
