Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a healthcare setting. The OT will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs that help build or restore daily living skills and general independence for patients with physical, developmental, or emotional impairments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess physical and mental capabilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient function and independence.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on home exercises and adaptive techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the applicable state.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organizational skills.
