Supply Chain Program Manager
Job Description

Guide cross-functional teams in developing and executing supply chain strategies for key programs and products.

Oversee material and subcontract milestones, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with internal and external requirements.

Manage program budgets for materials and subcontracts, driving initiatives to enhance financial outcomes.

Act as the main point of contact between Supply Chain and other departments, facilitating collaboration and communication.

Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and champion process enhancements.

Influence and lead teams within a matrixed organization to achieve program objectives.

Prepare supply chain estimates, incorporating risk and opportunity analysis for new business and ongoing projects.

Support financial reporting and forecasting in partnership with Program Finance.

Ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated and documented throughout the supply base.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, managing performance and recovery strategies as needed.

Provide transparent updates on supply chain status and proactively address critical issues with solution-oriented actions.
Serve as a subject matter expert in supply chain and program management practices.

Skills and Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and at least 7 years
-
Proven background in supply chain and program management across the product lifecycle
-
Strong communication skills for engaging with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
-
Experience with new business proposals and competitive pursuits
-
Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities
-
Subcontractor management experience from development through production
-
Ability to break down complex challenges into actionable solutions
-
Familiarity with Earned Value Management and control account management
Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations - Experience drafting technical statements of work

PMP certification
Advanced degree
