The Construction Controller plays a critical role in overseeing financial operations within construction projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, cost management, and fiscal reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets and monitor project expenditures to ensure cost control
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for stakeholder review
• Forecast project financial outcomes and update forecasts as necessary
• Analyze cash flow to maintain liquidity and project funding
• GAAP
• Identify and mitigate financial risks related to construction activities
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies
• Coordinate billing processes and reconcile accounts
• Process accounts payable and manage financial data within Viewpoint software

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in construction finance
• Viewpoint/Vista Experience
• GAAP
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Construction Management
• Expertise in construction accounting, budgeting, and cost estimation
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of audit compliance standards
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail
