Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts.
- BLS and ACLS required; NRP and PALS preferred.
- Inpatient or acute care experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, ventilator management, and patient education skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and monitor respiratory patients.
- Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizations, and airway management.
- Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen.
- Perform and interpret ABG analysis.
- Educate patients and families on care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
- Maintain EMR documentation and ensure compliance.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and code blues.
