Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location (city, state): Billerica, MA

Compensation: $32 - $35/hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Responsibilities:

• Enter accounts payable invoices received and match them against PO’s when applicable.
• Process vendor payments according to their due date and payment method.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain good filing practices and stewardship over paper and electronic records.
• Analysis on purchase orders received not billed and propose resolution to resolve.
• Support work related to the annual audit and other projects.
• Work closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned .

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of accounts payable and inventory processes
• Experience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to record, store, and analyze financial data. Experience with the Acumatica platform a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Associate’s degree in business required, accounting or finance coursework a plus.
• At least two years of experience in an administrative role with related responsibilities, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
