Sr. Manager, Planning Omnichannel

A Brief Overview
Omnichannel is responsible for Retail Planning for all DTC (Direct To Consumer) channels. This role is responsible for managing ASICS Brick and Mortar as well as owned E-commerce websites and marketplaces. This position will also play a central role in ad hoc reporting and analysis to drive the business forward and ensure the success of ASICS in the DTC space.

What You'll Do
- Create and maintain financial plans as it relates to merchandise management including sales, inventory, markdowns, margins and turns for Brick and Mortar and E-Commerce
- Oversee and manage Open to Buys for all categories through a strong partnership with Sr. Manager of Buying; Partner with Buying Team to align product strategies with financial targets and forecasts
- Update forecasts on a weekly basis in order to track progress of key retail KPI’s and analyze the business through ad hoc reporting, including but not limited to markdown analysis, promotion testing, and store assessments
- Develop and enhance Open to Buy tools and processes and spearhead reporting needs of department
- Create and maintain Omnichannel financial plans (Stores and Sites) at the month and day level
- Support the requirements of the business as needed to grow Omnichannel initiatives, such as Click and Collect and Ship from Store
- Supervise, train and develop Planners
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures

How You'll Be Successful
- Proven ability to effectively motivate, engage and foster growth within direct and indirect reports.
- Proven ability to hold themselves and direct and indirect reports accountable to a high standard of performance and results.
- Strong analytical skills and an expert level of knowledge of retail KPI’s and retail math
- Ability to present plans and results to senior management in a concise and professional manner
- Knowledge of resource allocation, planning, and assortment strategies to increase gross margins
- Experience with systems similar to SAP, BI systems, StoreForce and Teamwork preferred
- Thorough knowledge of the athletic industry trends is a benefit
- Understanding multiple brands and their current strategies that compete with ASICS
- Demonstrated progressive responsibility
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience required
- 9-11 years of experience within a Retail Planning position required
- 4-6 years experience effectively managing and leading direct reports and team success required
- Experience in any facet of Retail Merchandising, Buying and Allocation preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Knowledge in retail planning systems preferred
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills required
SALARY / PAY RANGE: $115,000 - $125,000
