Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Cultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff
- Provide counseling and support services tailored to student needs
- Consult with educators and parents regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care
- Deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health and wellness
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding psychological services in schools
