The opportunity
The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 8-Friday, August 14, 2026 . In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week. Interns will earn $17.50-$21.50/hour.

This role is hybrid (3-4 days/week on-site) at 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston. Specific work hours will be determined by the supervisor.



What you’ll do

• Participate in the development and testing of biomaterials for drug delivery
• Formulate and characterize small molecule/polymeric materials and may involve evaluating the formulations in biological essays
• Attend a 2-day program orientation and onboarding

• Participate in virtual and in-person workshops and activities

• Learn to perform a variety of routine laboratory experiments and procedures, utilizing standard laboratory equipment, and record and check results for completeness and accuracy
• Learn to interpret data with the help of a mentor
• Learn how to set up experiments with the appropriate controls
• Develop job-ready skills for the healthcare industry

• You are an undergraduate college student in good academic standing and will be enrolled in a two-or four-year program for Fall 2026, and you are interested in working in healthcare
• Excellent time manager
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Awareness of basic safety issues is expected, as is the ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
