Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

• Lead overhead cost analysis, allocation reporting, and support annual budget preparation, including coordination with department leaders on revenue and expense planning
• Partner with management and area directors to analyze variances to budget and prior results, providing insights and guidance to support financial performance
• Prepare and post journal entries, support monthly close, and perform complex account reconciliations across balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Design, produce, and evaluate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and analytical reports to improve clarity and decision-making
• Review financial systems and processes, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Support audits and new program/service evaluations by preparing financial data, year-end schedules, and performance analyses

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite) and general ledger/account reconciliation processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and technologies
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen
• Ability to analyze data, maintain accurate records, and anticipate and resolve issues efficiently
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

PAY RANGE: $55,785 - $58,016.40
