Our team is based out of our Burlington, MA headquarters location, where we work a required hybrid schedule of in-office on Monday - Thursday and remote on Fridays. Team members must reside within or be willing to relocated to a commutable distance from our Burlington office. What You-ll Accomplish As the Director of Brand for Whimzees, you will lead one of Wellness Pet-s most strategically important and fast-growing businesses. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, performance, and execution, you will set the annual direction for the brand and partner across functions to bring it to life with excellence. You-ll steward the Whimzees P&L, elevate how we show up with consumers and customers, and coach a high-performing team to drive both business results and long-term brand equity. Specifics to include but not limited to:- Brand Planning & Execution:Lead the development and execution of annual brand plans for Whimzees, translating portfolio strategies into clear priorities, initiatives, and customer-ready program
- Business Performance Management:Manage day-to-day brand performance including sales, share, and margin drivers surfacing insights and making recommendations to adjust plans as needed. Partner with Finance to ensure forecasts are accurate and risks/opportunities are addressed
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Sales, Integrated Marketing, Innovation, and Supply Chain to bring plans to life. Drive alignment on launches, promotions, and distribution priorities to ensure seamless execution
- Insights & Foresight:Regularly analyze consumer, category, and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities and performance risks. Bring forward insights that inform both near-term decisions and future brand direction
- Customer & Shopper Support:Partner with Sales and Shopper Marketing to adapt brand strategies into differentiated customer programs. Support customer meetings by providing brand and category insights, plans, and performance updates
- Innovation Execution:Support pipeline delivery by ensuring launch readiness, building commercialization plans, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver innovation to market successfully
- Team Leadership:Coach and develop a team of marketers to think strategically, act with ownership, and operate with speed. Provide clarity, feedback, and opportunities for growth

- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in CPG Brand Management
- Demonstrated the ability to coach, develop, attract, and retain high performing talent
- Strong, proven analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Experience and proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization as well as with external partners
- A high degree of ownership, holding themselves and others accountable and to a high standard
- Innate curiosity with a drive to dig through and understand multiple layers to find and action against the root cause
- A strategic mindset that is grounded in business objectives and deep understanding of the CPG environment
