Director - Market Leader
Director / Managing Director – New England Market
- Boston, MA (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite, flexible office setup)
- Director: $200K+ base + Bonus + LTI | Managing Director: $300K+ base + Bonus + LTI
- Leadership Seat: Be the #1 leader for the New England region, with direct impact on strategy and growth.
- Path to Partner: For the right person, this can start as a Director role and quickly progress to Managing Director (partner level).
- Big Clients, Big Impact: Work with enterprise-level companies (often $500M+ revenue) across tech, life sciences, and manufacturing.
- Growth Backing: National firm resources, plus full support (marketing, lead gen, specialty tax services) as you expand locally.
- Entrepreneurial Freedom: Build your own team, shape the culture, and put your stamp on the market.
- Lead expansion into the New England market (MA, NH, VT, RI, ME, northern CT).
- Drive new client acquisition and grow existing relationships.
- Advise executives on complex tax strategies, with deep focus on ASC 740.
- Partner with national specialty teams (international, SALT, automation, transfer pricing, credits/incentives).
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing local tax team.
- Serve as a visible thought leader, representing the firm in the market.
- 15+ years of tax experience, ideally from Big 4 or national firms.
- Extensive ASC 740 experience, with large-company clients (tech, life sciences, manufacturing preferred).
- Proven success in business development and client relationship expansion.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing teams.
- CPA or Master’s in Tax strongly preferred.
