Senior Digital Product Manager (Hybrid)
The Senior Digital Product Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, vision, and guiding the team on the execution of digital (web & mobile) flows for American Family. This role is a key driver in transforming the customer and agent experience, ensuring seamless, intuitive, and high-performing digital journeys that support business growth and operational excellence.
In this highly collaborative position, you will partner with cross-functional teams—including agency stakeholders, UX/UI designers, engineers, and data analysts —to define, develop, and optimize digital solutions. You will leverage data-driven insights to inform product decisions, prioritize enhancements, and measure success against key performance indicators such as improved customer experience and increased digital conversion. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking and visioning with hands-on product development expertise. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and roadmap planning to delivery and ongoing iteration, ensuring that the digital strategy aligns with organizational goals and delivers measurable value to both customers and agents. Position Compensation Range $131,000.00 - $220,000.00 Pay Rate Type Salary Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates. Key Responsibilities- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the digital flows on mobile and web platforms.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch innovative digital solutions that enhance the experience for agents and customers.
- Utilize data analytics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identifies objectives and key results and analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to recognize key pain points and opportunities to address
- Creates a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and fostering trust, transparency, and inclusion.
- Manage a team of product owners to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support on-going development
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital product management.
- Proven experience in digital product management, preferably within insurance, financial services, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in managing mobile and web product development.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for delivering impactful digital experiences.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in own and related initiatives, line of business, and broader stakeholders
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in digital/technology products and iterative product lifecycles that solve business problems and provide exceptional customer experiences
- Demonstrated experience deriving key insights and patterns from customer interviews and using that input to clarify problem statements
- Demonstrated expertise navigating matrixed organizations and teams with proven success in leveraging the right people and resources at the right time for consistent and dependable delivery
