Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Material Handling Battery Sales and Service Technician to join our growing team. This role combines technical expertise with customer relationship management, supporting sales efforts and delivering exceptional service for battery systems used in material handling equipment and energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable material handling battery solutions.
- Provide product demonstrations, technical insights, and recommendations.
- Assist the sales team in closing deals through technical support and presentations.
Service and Technical Support:
- Install, maintain, and repair material handling battery systems, chargers, and related components.
- Diagnose technical issues and provide prompt solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure battery reliability.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Customer Relations:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly.
- Educate customers on best practices for material handling battery maintenance and usage.
- Train customer staff on battery operation when required.
Inventory and Equipment Management:
- Manage service tools, parts inventory, and equipment effectively.
- Coordinate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth product delivery and support.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. Battery experience is not required, battery specific training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Technical certification or relevant trade qualification is preferred.
