VODA.ai is seeking a full-time remote Full-Stack Web Engineer . As part of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, including APIs and web servers, that are used by water utilities worldwide. Day-to-day tasks may include designing and implementing web-based tools, integrating third-party libraries, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and ensuring security best practices.
Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience with front‑end and back‑end web technologies
- BSc degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript (or TypeScript) and at least one high‑level programming language (e.g., Golang, Python)
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Express.js, React, Node.js, Redux, etc.)
- Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or non‑relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Comfortable with integrating third‑party libraries and backend REST APIs
- Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD)
- Knowledge of web application security best practices and data privacy
- Experience with Git version control
- Basic Unix knowledge and familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies (AWS, Serverless, etc) and Docker/Containers.
